Taking place on August Bank Holiday weekend, Portsmouth’s very own Victorious Festival, and the UK’s biggest metropolitan festival, has built up quite the reputation, with previous headliners including Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds & Ray Davies of The Kinks.
2017’s line-up acts as respite for those not able to trudge to the super-festivals like Glastonbury, and hosts a pretty impressive 3-days. Announcing Friday night headliners Madness prior to today’s announcement, the festival had already set the bar quite high.
Today saw the inclusion of Welsh rock titans Stereophonics set to parade new and old releases on Saturday night, and Elbow pegged for a Sunday night extravaganza on the Main Stage.
Other acts set for the weekend include the Nottingham acoustic maestro Jake Bugg, one of the most hyped indie acts about, Sundara Karma, Feeder and KT Tunstall.
On top of that, Scottish indie rockers Franz Ferdinand will bring their full-on sound to Pompey on Sunday, alongside Slaves, who will no doubt rip Portsmouth’s seafront up.
Victorious Festival takes place from 25th-27th August 2017 on Southsea Seafront in Portsmouth, and tickets begin at £25. Grab tickets and the full line-up over on the Victorious Festival website.
