Aa/Ra shares ghostly cover of ‘Moon River’

Au/Ra has shared a ghostly new cover of the ’60s classic ‘Moon River’.

The track, which was first heard performed by Audrey Hepburn in 1961’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s, features Au/Ra’s delicate vocals, along with a subtle, melancholic guitar lick, and soft percussion. Watch the video below:

Au/Ra explains: “I’ve always loved the song, especially the version sung by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and it’s something I’ve always wanted to do my own rendition of. During quarantine I thought ‘why not give it a try?’. It was something I just wanted to do for fun with my dad, but we ended up liking it so much that we wanted to make it an actual release for listeners“.

‘Moon River’ follows Au/Ra’s latest single ‘Ideas’, released earlier this year, and a recent feature on Jax Jones‘ track ‘i miss you’.

‘Moon River’ was released today via RCA Records, and is available to stream and purchase now.
