Illusive, mask-toting, wild-west due Bad Flamingo have returned with their latest single ‘Bottom Shelf Gin’.
The track is a woozing, swaggering ode to spaghetti-westerns, featuring heavy use of twanging bajos from the one on the left and janky, lo-fi percussion reminiscent of Jack White at his most enigmatic.
The duo are maintaining their wryly ambiguous presence. But, they do explain that the track is “For the times when all that’s left is gin, and the only shelf you can reach is the bottom“. The duo’s debut album I Said a Prayer Twice for Both My Faces dropped in 2018, while their most recent single was unveiled earlier this year.
‘Bottom Shelf Gin’ is avaliable now to stream and download.
