Having left office just under a year ago, former President, Barack Obama, has had “plenty of time on [his] hands this year to catch up” on music and books. Continuing a tradition he’d started during his presidency Obama has shared his end of the year reading list and playlist.
Featuring a diverse lineup of artists, from Kendrick Lamar to Camila Cabello, Obama’s end of year roundup is a cracking one. Among the 21 songs named by the former US president are ‘First World Problems’ by Chance The Rapper, ‘Family Feud’ by Jay-Z and Beyonce, ‘Humble’ by Kendrick Lamar, ‘The System Only Dreams in Total Darkness’ by The National, ‘Feel It Still’ by Portugal. The Man and ‘Sign of the Times’ by Harry Styles.
