Having teased a new release on socials, the group confirmed ‘Buzzcut’ drops tonight
Kicking off the year teasing a new era, Kevin Abstract earlier this week hinted at new Brockhampton music in a cryptic Insta post. The post, reading “5000 comments & we’ll drop a new video tomorrow” smashed that initial marker, prompting a new post from Abstract reading ‘New video tonight’.
Now, at the time of publishing, a youtube link of the new track has appeared. Due to premiere at roughly 1AM UK time (9PM easter), a link to the new track can be found below.
The first new music since the release of 2019’s Ginger, and the groups eight-track lockdown mixtape Technical Difficulties, the track is set to feature Danny Brown.

Rick Ruben recently took to youtube to drop some gossip on the groups upcoming work. In the brief clip, Ruben is heard to praise the project’s opening tracks: “The first three, though, you can’t change. The first three is unstoppable,” Rubin says in the video.
“It’s out of the box, crazy and unexpected… I was not expecting the way it started, and I think that’s really strong.”
