The Cribsformed of three brothers; Ryan, Gary, & Ross Jarman, today announced they will be celebrating the 10th birthday of their highly acclaimed 3rd album, Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever with a run of UK tour dates, including a colossal homecoming show at Leeds First Direct Arena. A rather scathing album, with a sonic assault on ‘Our Bovine Public’, ‘Major’s Titling Victory’ and ‘Men’s Needs’, and aptly, ‘Women’s Needs’ … The Cribs’ 3rd album is a good old ‘Fuck You!’ to all the industry types and scenesters.

Cementing the Wakefield trio as bona fide cult heroes, The Cribs, as humble as ever, had this to say about their heavily praised record, and the tour to celebrate its 10th birthday …

“When writing an album, you (not so) secretly hope that 10 years down the line people will still care about it, still listen to it and get something out of it whatever that may be. And so, ultimately we just feel really lucky and honoured to be in a position where this ‘conundrum’ of looking back vs moving forward is even a consideration. In short, this isn’t The Cribs indulging ourselves and reliving the past – it’s more just a big THANK YOU to all of you that have been with us throughout the years, and a ‘welcome aboard’ to those who missed it the first time around.”

Whether it’ll be the unruly nature of ‘I’ve Tried Everything’, the Earth-shattering ‘Be Safe’, or the heartfelt ‘Shoot The Poets’, these shows are ones you REALLY will not want to miss out on!
