What do you get is you cross a Spaghetti Western, some Old School Psychedelia and five Londoners? No this isn’t the setup to some terrible joke, the answer is Creatures. Born during the summer of 2016, Creatures have been somewhat of a hidden presence. Making their live debut at Rough Trade’s 40th-anniversary party, it was not long before the band were snapped up to support Temples on their UK/EU tour.
Their first single, ‘Goldeneye’ is a jangly-guitarred earworm that will transport you straight to a Quentin Tarantino soundtrack. With lots more music to come from the London five-piece this year, we’re sure we’ll be hearing more from them soon.
