Discover: Sea Girls

It’s still early days for London based four-piece Sea Girls, but the rate they’re churning out massive indie bangers suggests only more impressive things to come over the future months. Originally hailing from Kent and Leicestershire, the boys create fun, fresh-sounding tunes that are a great accompaniment for long nights, as well as being a great pick-me-up for early mornings.

‘Call Me Out’, the band’s debut single, is no exception, and was featured on the Radio 1 playlist via BBC Introducing last month. Full of bold guitar riffs, distinctive vocals, and infectious lyrics, the track is followed by equally impressive ‘Lost’, released just last week, also jam packed with catchy bass lines and a super fun tone.

With one EP and two singles currently under their belts, the boys are all set for their first headline show at The Lexington on 18 September, and there are rumours that a second EP is currently in the pipeline. Despite having recently released a single, there’s one thing we’re sure of at Riot; new music from Sea Girls can’t come soon enough.
