Taking over London’s Victoria Park for one day a year, Citadel Festival is truly one of the city’s summer highlights. Featuring some of the greatest acts around this year’s edition marks the festival’s third birthday.
Headlined by Oxford’s finest indie-rockers, Foals, in a UK festival exclusive the one-dayer will also see Bonobo, Wild Beasts, Laura Marling, RY X, Michael Kiwanuka, Sylvian Esso, Dan Croll, Twin Peaks, Vessels, Yonaka, XamVolo and many more. Featuring stages expertly curated by the likes of Communion Records, DIY and Clash Magazine, Citadel will be ready to host some of the best new names music has to offer.
In its short, three-year, history the festival has already seen some huge acts play its stages. Kicking off its first year with Bombay Bicycle Club’s second last show, Ben Howard, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Honeyblood, Leon Bridges, as well as the likes of Sigur Rós, Caribou, Lianne La Havas, Nataniel Rateliff and Battles taking over the 2016 edition.

Citadel is about more than just the music, with everything from art studios to a science camp run by the Science Museum, you better get yourself ready to dance, play and eat to your heart’s content.
