Name: All Points East
Where: Victoria Park, London
When: 25th May – 3rd June
Taking over Victoria Park for its inaugural instalment next May All Points East is set to bring some of the best live acts currently around to East London, alongside cinema, talks and events running throughout the festival’s residency.
Lineup:
Hitting the ground running All Points East’s inaugural weekend will see LCD Soundsystem, The xx and Björk take the headline spots, accompanied by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Phoenix, Glass Animals, Lorde, Sampha, Beck, Father John Misty and many more.
Kicking off the list of names for weekend two are The National, who will headline the Saturday, supported by The War On Drugs, Future Islands, Warpaint, The Districts and more to be announced. Closing off the festival will be Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, who will be joined by St. Vincent, Courtney Barnett and Patty Smith.
With two more headliners and 20 more acts still to be unveiled, there’s little doubt in our mind that All Points East will be one of the most exciting festivals to come to London this summer.
Everything Else:
Setting up shops for 10 days in Victoria Park, the festival will see six days of music, with the site opening up during the week with a programme filled with events, talks, screenings and more free for the local community to enjoy. The festival will also look to promote the local economy by engaging local businesses to provide drinks, promotional materials and merchandise.
Tickets for The xx’s and The National’s shows are on sale now from £59.95, with tickets for the rest of the currently announced dates going on sale this Friday, November 3rd at 9am. For more info, tickets and more visit the All Points East website.
