Girl In Red, Greentea Peng and more announced for BBC Sound Of 2021

Entering its 19th year, the BBC’s Sound Of 2021 has been unveiled, tipping ten new artists for success.

Voted by a panel of industry experts, as well as former Alumni artists including Billie Eilish, Stromzy, AJ Tracey, Wolf Alice, Foals and Charli XCX, this year’s nominees stretch from across the UK and Europe.

This year’s list of names sees Girl In Red, Alfie Templeman, BERWYN, Bree Runway, Duchavelli, Greentea Peng, GRIFF, Holly Humberstone, Pa Saliew and The Lathums nominated for the award.

The countdown to this 2021’s top five kicks off on Sunday, January 3rd on radio one, and will continue throughout the week with 2021’s winner being announced on January 7th.

Over the past few years the likes of Sigrid, Octavian, Years & Years, Jessie J, Micheal Kiwanuka and last year Celeste have all taken home the crown.
