Glastonbury Festival have shared 2023’s edition of their iconic lineup poster, and it doesn’t disappoint.
Headliners Arctic Monkeys, Guns n Roses and Elton John will be joined by the brightest and best from across the genres, including Slowthai, Fred Again.., Lana Del Rey, Lewis Capaldi and Lil Nas X.
Lizzo will act as lead support for Guns n Roses on the Pyramid Stage, and Lana Del Rey will headline the Other Stage. Very few specific day/stage-splits are yet to be confirmed elsewhere on the lineup for the Worthy Farm festival, which takes place between 21st-25th June.
Despite this first wave of names being approximately a 50/50 split between genders, the all-male headliners have already garnered some media attention. “We’re entirely focused on balancing our bill,” Emily Eavis states. “It’s not just about gender, it’s about every aspect of diversity”. 46% of the acts on today’s announcements are non-white, or feature non-white members and Afrobeats star Wizkid will be headlining the Other Stage.
Check out Glastonbury’s 2023 lineup poster below, but don’t get too excited about your prospects of attending, with tickets selling out in a flash during November’s release.
