Introducing: Bloxx

With their newly released indie stormer ‘Novocain’, it has become evident that Bloxx are on the cusp of stardom. Along with their 2017 releases, ‘Coke’, ‘Curtains’ and ‘You’, the band have impressed audiences all over the world, gaining over 220,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. The 4 piece hail from Uxbridge, and are comprised of Ophelia on guitar/vocals, Taz on lead guitar/backing vocals, Paul on bass and Mozwin on drums. Having a strong voice is key for an up-and-coming band, and Ophelia rips through the tracks with ease, as if she’s been singing indie-rock for years. The band’s recent tunes have been causing quite a buzz; the double A-side ‘Coke / Curtains’ was praised by Annie Mac and ‘You’ was playlisted by Radio 1. Their blend of classic timeless melodies and intriguing grunge-pop undertones end up giving the band a unique and infectiously catchy sound, guaranteeing a fun experience live.

Throughout 2017 the band accompanied both Sundara Karma and INHEAVEN on tour, and this year are joining even bigger tours with Pale Waves and The Wombats, not to mention numerous summer festivals too. If the band continues the way they have been, releasing great tune after great tune, 2018 will be absolutely massive for them.

Bloxx are currently supporting The Wombats on their UK, having spent the last month with Pale Waves. Get info on tickets and more here.
