Taking place on Southsea Common in sunny old Portsmouth, Victorious Festival is Pompey’s pride and joy when it comes to summer activities. A pleasant contrast to the mammoth weekenders hosted up and down the country, the 3 day seaside event has previously hosted the likes of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Primal Scream, Dizzee Rascal and The Cribs.
This year, Victorious has returned with 3 incredibly good headliners; Madness, Stereophonics and Elbow, taking to the Main Stage in that order. Dotted about the line-up are some absolutely jaw-dropping up-and-coming acts including Tunbridge Wells punk duo Slaves, indie-pop big shots Sundara Karma, and frenzied four-piece Crows.
Unbeguilingly, the Portsmouth faithful will benefit from some older faces being added to the mix, with The Charlatans and indie-rock veterans Franz Ferdinand also cropping up over the course of the weekend … and instead of us rambling on and on about how bloody brilliant this line-up is, you’d better check out the full list over on the Victorious website.
As summer gets that little bit closer, so does the deadline for grabbing early bird tickets for Victorious … it’s almost a package deal! So, with prices ranging from £25 to £32 until Wednesday 29th February, us RIOT lot highly recommend you nab yourself, and your friends if you’re feeling nice, tickets for an unmissable weekend!
Tickets and full line-up are available here.
