Having established its first European bases in Berlin and Paris, the world famous series of festivals, Lollapalooza, has announced its newest home, Stockholm.
Hosting the festival for two days in June, the Swedish city will no doubt see a huge roster of artists take over Stockholm’s area of Gärdet. Speaking about the new Lolla edition, Thomas Johansson, Chairman International Music at Live Nation said:
“It takes years of research and planning to determine the right cities to host Lollapalooza, and we take the decision lightly. With its incredible culture, vibrant music scene and beautiful green spaces, Stockholm proved to be an ideal city to add to our growing international family”
Taking place on June 28-29th 2019, the first round of names for the inaugural Lollapalooza Stockholm will be announced towards the end of the year, alongside tickets. For now to get more info on Lollapalooza Stockholm head over to its website.
