Having taken a little hiatus since his incredible Brixton show last year, Mercury-nominated rapper Loyle Carner has returned with a new track, ‘Ottolenghi’.
Inspired and named after pioneering chef Yotam Ottolenghi, the new track came about when Loyle was quizzed on the train about the “Bible” he was reading, which was, in fact, the aforementioned chef’s cookbook ‘Jerusalem‘.
Having released his critically acclaimed debut, Yesterday’s Gone, just over 18 months ago, Loyle Carner has travelled across the world, started a cookery school for children with ADHD, campaigned for men’s mental health and fronted a worldwide YSL campaign.
