Returning with her first solo song in almost three years, Phoebe Bridgers has shared her latest single ‘Garden Song’.
The accompanying video, directed by Bridgers’ brother Jackson Bridgers, sees Bridgers (a non-smoker) take a hit on a bong, before being surprised by whatever her brother threw at her. The resulting video catches Bridgers being weirded out by various furry monsters and – at one point – the comedian/author Tig Notaro in a monk’s costume.
In the two years since the release of her debut, Bridgers has spent her time as part of supergroups Better Oblivion Community Centre and boygenius, as well as a series of collaborative singles.
Phoebe Bridgers will return to the UK as part of the 1975’s one-off Finsbury Park extravaganza on July 11th, as well as popping by Latitude Festival.
