Preview: Brits Week 2018

Bringing some of the biggest names in music to some of the best small venues in London and Manchester, it’s that time of the year, once again, for Brits Week to kick off.

Aiming to raise as much money as possible for War Child, this year’s Brits week will see Ed Sheeran, Jessie Ware, Nathaniel Ratecliff & The Night Sweats, Alt-J, The Amazons, Deaf Havana, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, Laura Marling, The Vamps and Kygo take over London, while Wolf Alice will play a one-off show at Manchester’s Gorilla.

Celebrating their 25th birthday, War Child are aiming to beat last year’s record which saw them raise a massive £567,000. Speaking about this year’s Brits WeekLiana Mellotte, Head of Music, Entertainment & Development at War Child said:

“Since our first music fundraiser, it’s amazing and very humbling for us to be working with some of the world’s best music talent a quarter of a century later. It’s testament to the musicians who generously donate their time and talent to stand up for the rights of children in the most horrendous circumstances. Every year, we’re overwhelmed by the support of those musicians, their fans and our partners O2 who make this such a special time for War Child.”

Tickets for the Brits Week shows are available via a prize draw. At £5 an entry, Brits Week gives you a chance to see some of the best artists currently about for less than the price of a pint! For more info and prize draws visit the Brits Week website.
