Primavera Sound has announced it’s 2022 lineup – and it’s massive!

Not known for half-assing their lineup, Primavera Sound has announced it’s bill for 2022, and it’s humongous

Unveiling over four hundred of names, Primavera Sound has set the bar as high as it can for post-pandemic festivals. Expanding its presence from one to two weekends in June, the festival will also be playing those to a series of shows across venues in Barcelona.

Leading the charge for Primavera’s first weekend, from 2nd to 4th of June, will be The Strokes, Tame Impala, Tyler, The Creator, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Gorillaz, Pavement, Massive Attack, Jorja Smith, The National and Beck.

The second weekend will feature the likes of Dua Lipa, Lorde (yes, you read that right, freaking Lorde!), Megan Thee Stallion, Interpol and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs as well as The Strokes, Tame Impala and Tyler, The Creator among others who will be playing again.

Alongside returning to it’s traditional home in Parc del Fòrum, Primavera has announced for the first time comprehensive weekday programming across Barcelona. Taking place from the 5th to 8th June, the city will be taken over by Beck, Megan Thee Stallion, Interpol, Jamie xx, Jorja Smith, Disclosure and many more as they bring their shows to Barcelona’s vibrant nightlife.

With it’s lineup still not fully formed, Primavera has already set a high bar for the post-pandemic festival experience.

Tickets for the festival go on sale next week, on Tuesday 1st June. With full double weekend tickets priced at €425 + fees, or €245 for single weekend.

All tickets already purchased for the 2020 and 2021 editions will allow you to attend one weekend of Primavera Sound 2022 Barcelona – Sant Adrià. The buyer must choose: in the case of Weekend tickets, between one of the two weekends, and it will also be possible to purchase an upgrade to be able to go to both for the special price of € 195 (+ booking fee); in the case of day tickets, you will have to choose between one of the six main days at the Parc del Fòrum, no matter what weekend it is.
