Scotland’s much-anticipated replacement for UK festival stalwart T In The Park, TRNSMT Festival 2017, has finally revealed a ludicrous first wave of acts to grace Glasgow Green.
Radiohead, Kasabian and Biffy Clyro have been announced as TRNSMT’s opening headliners, but the fun doesn’t stop there.
Joining Radiohead on Friday will be Belle and Sebastian, London Grammar and Rag’n’Bone Man, Saturday’s headliners Kasabian follow sets from Catfish and the Bottlemen, George Ezra, The Kooks and Circa Waves, before Biffy Clyro’s homecoming performance rounds off proceedings on Sunday – after The 1975, Two Door Cinema Club, Twin Atlantic and Blossoms.
With this initial announcement an incredible statement of intent and many more acts still to be announced, TRNSMT is sure to be one to watch come festival season.
TRNSMT Festival 2017 takes place from 7th-9th July 2017 at Glasgow Green, Glasgow.
Early Bird tickets (from £59.50 for day passes and £149 for the entire festival) go on sale this Friday 3rd February at 9AM from trnsmtfest.com.
