Seminal four-piece Ride have announced the arrival of their brand new album Weather Diaries, which is pegged to hit the shelves on Friday 16th June.
Recorded after a reunion with a lot of old flames, including Alan Moulder who produced their iconic debut ‘Nowhere’ and its follow up, and is released through Wichita Recordings, set up by their ex-Creation Records buddies – what to expect from Weather Diaries, therefore, is hopefully the glacial and punchy shoegaze gifted all those years ago.
‘Charm Assault’ and ‘Home Is A Feeling’ are the only 2 tracks released so far in the run up to the new album, and with both sounding so quintessentially Ride, it’s fair to say we’re pretty blimmin’ excited for this new LP.
Pre-order Weather Diaries, out through Wichita Recordings, here.
