RIOT’s release Radar #016

Running out of things to say here… no gigs.. no festivals..

Just buy some merch from your favourite artists and we’ll weather this storm together.

Blah blah blah, wash your hands. x

Lazarus Kane // Night Walking

One of the ever-present names of 2020’s Indie press has released a solid banger. We are only just scratching the surface of this self-proclaimed musician, philanthropist, and successful American businessman. MG

Kennyhoopla // plastic door//

Somewhere between pop-punk, Soundcloud rap and Shoegaze sits Kennyhoopla. This guy has attracted the attention of fans from all circles and we recommend getting on this train early. MG

Joff Oddie // To Mr. Fahay

The Wolf Alice guitarist has added to his impressive CV with a solo acoustic album. The instrumental LP is a joyous change of pace and worth checking out regardless of the Wolf Alice connection. MG

Aurora // Exist For Love

You don’t usually associate a love song with Norwegian singer Aurora, infact in the past she’s chosen to actively avoid them. Opening up a new chapter in her musical book the Scandi singer has released ‘Exist For Love’, a powerful love song featuring Isabel Waller-Bridge, sister of actor and Fleabag creator Phoebe. PG

Easy Life // peanut butter

Dropping not one, but two tracks back to back this week, Easy Life have surprised us with a little something they’ve been working on while in quarantine. Like what you hear below, you can also check out ‘petty crime’ over herePG

Girl In Red // Say It

It’s not often we hear someone’s cover of a song we love and it stops us dead in our tracks, but once again Marie (aka Girl In Red) has captured our hearts and our ears with her cover of Maggie Rodgers’ ‘Say It’. PG

Pottery // Hot Heater

Releasing the latest taster from their much-anticipated debut album Welcome To Bobby’s Motel, Pottery have shared the jaunty ‘Hot Heater’. PG
