Self Isolation Sessions: Artists take their gigs online to entertain fans

With tour cancellations flying faster than we can keep track of, bands and artists have taken it in their own hands to bring a slice of their gigs to their fans stuck at home. From bedroom gigs, to live talk shows, and Chris Martin forgetting the lyrics to his own songs, in the last day we’ve seen a bit of everything. We’ve delved through social media to find our favourite social distancing gigs, so grab a cuppa, get comfy and enjoy some music. RIOT x

Seen any Self-Isolation sessions that we’ve missed, drop us a comment below to let us know!

Chris takes to the studio, solo

Accompanied by just a piano, and a carriage, Christine and The Queens invited us into the studio last night for an intimate social-distancing performance. Blistering through three tracks from her brand new EP, ‘People, I’ve Been Sad’, ‘Mountains’ and ‘Je disparais dans tes bras’, Chris laid the foundations for what could become a nightly gig, featuring special guests and collaborators.

The Yungblud Show

If you ever wondered what you’d get if you crossed Yungblud with a talkshow, your questions have been answered. Taking the helm on the Yungblud Show our favourite Doncaster native rolled through an epic hour-long special. Playing through a bunch of tracks, hosting a mini cooking show with Oliver Tree, downing some Coronas with Bella Thorne and Machine Gun Kelly, and taking a Q&A from fans. So get ready to open up your pits, and get those singing voices warmed up, and enjoy the chaotically brilliant Yungblud Show.

L Devine’s URL Tour

Announcing her URL Tour last night, L Devine kicked it off with a 30 minute set from her living room. Taking to the stage (the floor just in front of her sofa) the singer played through a series of songs, including talking through the chords for some of her tracks. The full set is available to watch for the next few hours on her insta-profile.

With four more shows left on the tour, including Facebook live next Monday, and TikTok on Thursday 26th. For more info on the tour check out the insta post below.

Pink’s Piano Practice

Branding it as a piano lesson/rehearsal, Pink took to IGTV to serenade her fans with ‘To Make You Feel My Love’. The three minute short sees the singer sat at a piano while rehearsing her way through the track
