Shame have treated us to their second new single of the year, ‘Water In The Well’.
The track is frantic, with a spiky, janky guitar line during the verse followed by a characteristically riotous chorus. Meanwhile, the video sees the band taking a shouty road trip and frontman Charlie Steen smiling wryly in a field.
‘Water In The Well’ follows the band’s previous single ‘Alphabet‘, which dropped earlier this year. Alongside the new track come more details of the band’s long-awaited second album.
Titled Drunk Tank Pink, the album is out on January 15th via Dead Oceans, the album will see eleven tracks. The album will also be accompanied by a socially distanced tour, playing exclusively independent venues across the country in February.
Spanning some of the finest independent venues in the country, this will hopefully give some of you incredibly patient individuals a taste of what’s to come when normality is resumed. Pre-order the album before the 25th Nov for access to the presale tickets. pic.twitter.com/UmSFZ5jxG3
