With a jam-packed bill that already sees some huge names head to Denmark’s Roskilde Festival, the Danish festival has announced its latest round of names for its 2018 bill.
Leading the charge is Norwegian pop breakthrough, Sigrid. Having stated that her set at last year’s Roskilde was her true breakthrough moment, the Norwegian singer will return to the festival bigger and better than ever before. She’s joined by her Norwegian colleagues Smerz, The Blaze, Rome Is Not A Town, Kelly Lee Owens, Juana Molina, Stefflon Don, Regelbau presents Central + DJ Sports + C.K + Manmade Deejay, Ond Tro, Nyt Liv and Motorsav.

Elsewhere the Roskilde program also kicked off its first names for its Equality Programme, a series of art installations, debates and activism activities at the festival with the announcement of Chelsea Manning. In her first European visit since her commutation in 2017, Chelsea Manning will head to Roskilde to talk about being an active part of the fight for public transparency in the digitalised world, as well as transgender rights on Thursday 5th July. The Danish festival will also see installations form ±Maismenos± and Bankslave.
Roskilde Festival 2018 lasts a full 8 days and takes place from Saturday 30 June to Saturday 7 July and will see 175 acts descend onto the site. Tickets for the festival are available to purchase now from the Roskilde website.
