Single Review: Valley of Vision // Weirds

Hailing from Leeds, a place with a solidly connected music scene with pretty heavy undertones, Weirds find themselves at the forefront. Breeding their own style of psychedelic grunge, the four-piece have nailed a deranged and unruly sound with their latest single Valley of Vision.

Ripping open with pounding drum beats and scornful bass-lines, met with vicious vocals, the single rummages into corrosive feedback and shrouded lyricism. Accompanied by a music video stained with an eerie atmosphere, Weirds’ new offering leaves them with what lead singer Aidan Razzall describes as a “crest of intent”. Honestly, you’ll want to keep an eye on the northern caustic set-up.
