Track Review: Carry Yourself // Razorlight

Razorlight are back! After a 10-year hiatus with their latest single from their upcoming album, Olympus Sleeping. Their new single ‘Carry Yourself,’ is an endearing throwback to early ’00s indie if ever you heard it. It may not break the internet or blow your mind but that’s not what Razorlight are about.

With this track they stick to what they know and do what they do best. The gleefully melodic guitars combined with Borrell’s upbeat vocals makes for something catchy and uplifting; a ‘feel good’ little tune to put a spring in your step as you leave the office.

Olympus Sleeping is set to release on 26th October, with four of the tracks already available: ‘Olympus Sleeping’. ‘Sorry?’, ‘Japan Rock’ and ‘Got To Let The Good Times Back Into Your Life’. If you’re looking for a little bit of noughties nostalgia then tickets are already on sale for Razorlight’s UK tour in December.
