2017 sees Victorious Festival host a wealth of titanic artists, ranging from the legendary ska piece Madness, to Welsh heroes Stereophonics, and up-and-coming punk duo Slaves. This year’s festival was also set to host iconic Scottish band The Jesus and Mary Chain on Sunday afternoon.
Due to unexpected circumstances, however, the alt-rock set up will be replaced by the media-frenzied and wildly loved Peter Doherty. The ex-Libertine is fresh off the back of his 2016 album ‘Flags Of The Old Regime’, and continuing what appears to be a never-ending world tour. Set for a Sunday evening set on the Common Stage, the city of Portsmouth can expect folly and disorder to draw their weekend to a close.
Acting as a suitable adjustment to a stellar line-up for Victorious, the festival will host Franz Ferdinand, Elbow, Jake Bugg, Olly Murs, Feeder, and many many more artists over the 3 day fixture.
Victorious Festival takes place over the August Bank Holiday weekend, with tickets starting at £35 per day. Tickets, full line-up details, and more information are available here.
