Having stolen our hearts and our ears earlier this year, and wowed us once again at last summer’s All Points East, Lymeric-via-London three-piece Whenyoung have once again made their way to our ears with their latest track ‘Given Up’.
The gitty alt-rock track comes once again as a short yet sweet reminder of what Whenyoung are capable of. Its chiming guitars and addictive chorus burrowing their way into your head.
The new song is accompanied by a Bunny Kinney directed video. Filmed in the Peckham Liberals Club, and directed by Dazed Editorial director, the video places the band as a conduit for escape from banal, suburban living.
‘Given Up’ is the title track for Whenyoung’s upcoming EP., pegged for release this November 9th. The band will also headline London’s Boston Music Room on October 11th. Tickets are available for purchase now.
