South London’s Wide Awake Festival have today announced it’s final wave of names, with Brooklyn electro punks Model/Actriz, songwriter-guitarist Gretel Hänlyn and Cola performing on 27th May.
This fresh batch of contributors join a lineup which already boasts the likes of Caroline Polachek, Alex.G, Black Country, New Road and Sweden’s finest, Viagra Boys.
Since it’s first edition in 2021, Wide Awake has celebrated the best in punk, DIY and alternative music, with a variety of stages names after some of the capital’s most prolific grassroots venues. 2022’s event saw the festival open it’s doors to more electronic artists, with Daniel Avery, Joy Orbison and the elusive Two Shell set to appear at the 2023 installment.
Alongside the full roster of acts listed below, Brockwell Park will also play host to beer tents, street food, a zine fair and various workshops which are yet to be announced.
Tickets are priced at £59.50, but groups of 4 can club together to purchase their tickets for £50 each. Check out our review of Wide Awake 2021 here.
