Wolf Alice have unveiled ‘Smile’, the latest single taken from their hotly anticipated third album Blue Weekend. The release follows the album’s lead single ‘The Last Man on Earth’, which dropped in February, and is accompanied by a new music video directed by Jordan Hemingway.
The track is the second piece of new music from the Londoners since their Mercury Prize-winning sophomore effort Visions of a Life, and features a chunky, manic bassline and rambling, stream-of-consciousness vocals reminiscent of that album’s track ‘Yuk Foo’. You can see the video below:
Blue Weekend is set for release via Dirty Hit on 11 June, and is due to be accompanied by a string of UK and European tour dates, starting in January next year. You can find more information on the band and the album here, and find tour dates below:
